Introduction
City Logistics is seeking a customer-focused CSD Agent to join our Cape Town team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating the delivery process to ensure efficient service delivery and a positive customer experience.
Job description
- Customer service planning and coordination.
- Coordinate deliveries between clients and delivery points.
- Monitor and follow up on customer shipments through to successful delivery.
- Measure and report on customer service KPIs.
- Provide professional and high-quality service to customers.
- Compile, maintain and manage CSD reports.
- Conduct client visits when required.
Minimum requirements
- Grade 12.
- A customer service-related qualification would be advantageous.
- A minimum of one year’s customer service experience within the logistics industry.
- Knowledge of operational planning.
- Sound working knowledge and experience using CSD software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Willing and able to work Saturdays, public holidays and extended shifts when required.
- Own reliable transport is essential.
- A valid Code 08/EB driver’s licence is essential.
